Cape Cod Museum of Natural History
The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History may be small, but it's so much more than just a museum. They are also an education center and are stewards of conservation land. They offer live marine science exhibits, collections-based exhibits, environmental education programs for children and adults, as well as off-site nature tours. While you're there enjoy three nature trails and a wildflower garden on the grounds. 

Cape Rep Theater
The Cape Rep Theater offers a wide variety of entertainments from contemporary musicals to classic plays. The Cape Rep has two theaters in Nickerson State Park. They put on five plays from May - November. During warm months, they do "Theater Under the Stars" in the 200-seat outdoor theater, the only outdoor theater on Cape Cod. 

Dining

Cobie's
Since 1948, Cobie's has been serving up delicious, local seafood in a laid back atmosphere. There's something for everyone on the menu from lobster rolls to burgers. Don't forget to save room for ice cream!

Stone L'Oven
Stone L'Oven Pizza Co. serves up fresh, hand-tossed, all-natural, wood-fired pizza. The ingredients are locally sourced and the service is wonderful. It's a great place to bring the whole family. 

Brewster Fish House
What started as a retail fish market is now an acclaimed seafood restaurant, the Brewster Fish House is a place you can't miss. The Brewster Fish House serves up local seafood with a refined twist in a quaint cottage.

Big Cliff Pond

This freshwater beach as a roped off swimming area. Boat rentals are available. Space is limited on this small beach, but the lush, green surroundings and fantastic view make it a great place to relax and unwind. 

Breakwater Beach

This rocky beach is among the most popular beaches in Brewster. Low tide allows you to walk really far out. This calm beach is a favorite among families and older folks. 

Crosby Landing

Families and kids love this long beach! This bay beach is very calm and offers warmer water and beautiful views, and nice sand. 

Ellis Landing Beach

This rocky beach offers a good amount of room at low tide. The slight dunes help to make the area feel more secluded. It is surrounded by private beaches, so be aware when parking your towel. 

Flax Pond

This freshwater beach is popular with small children. Part of Nickerson State Park, the beach has some shady areas. There's a roped off swimming area as well as public restrooms and showers. 

Little Cliff Pond

Not the best place for swimming, Little Cliff Pond is great for fishing and kayaking. It is adjacent to Big Cliff Pond. 

Robins Hill

Robins Hill is a fantastic beach with plenty of space. There are rock jetties, gorgeous views, and intriguing tidal pools. There's plenty of parking and it's rarely busy at Robins Hill. 

Sheep Pond

Sheep Pond is a small freshwater beach that's popular among families. There is a boat launch for those looking to enjoy the beautiful surroundings via kayak or canoe. 

Upper Mill Pond

More boat ramp than beach, Upper Mill Pond is a great place to paddle board. There is no sand and only minimal grass. There is a small wooden deck to admire the view. 

Schools

Children in Brewster attend Nauset Public Schools: Stony Brook Elementary, Eddy Elementary, Nauset Regional Middle School, and Nauset Regional High School

The Laurel School is an accredited, independent school for children starting as toddlers through 6th grade. The school is founded on the belief that "children learn best when they are treated with love and respect and when academic content is presented in interesting and varied ways."

Brewster is also home to the Latham School. The Latham School is for students ages 8-22 who have developmental delays, trauma, Prader-Willi Syndrome, emotional challenges, and behavioral challenges. They focus on highly individualized treatments and learning that benefit both the student and the family.
